Over the last year Katie and I have tried our best to branch outside our comfort zones and try to make/recreate interesting and new recipes for Dam Good Food. Many people who are restricted to a gluten free diet, like Katie, have a difficult time eating foods from an Asian culture however we have learned that many Vietnamese dishes are naturally gluten free! I never realized this struggle until we started dating.
This Vietnamese Caramel Chicken was extremely simple to make and full of flavor! The best part was that we didn’t need to make any gluten free substitutions! Make sure you read the ingredients of the fish sauce you purchase, as that is the only item we could see having a possibility of the ingredient wheat.
