Why I never found interest in infusing alcohol in college I’ll never understand. I mean who doesn’t love buying a cheap bottle of something and then making it better with fruit? Katie and I tried to be as creative as possible with the flavors and found some pretty great results! Katie also loves tequila because it’s one of the few hard alcohols naturally gluten-free. I, on the other hand, do not prefer tequila but found it tolerable with soaked fruits.

The Peach, Rosemary, Agave infused Tequila is sweet and earthy. Would be great on the rocks and sipped for the night or drank quickly in a shooter. Use the agave to taste but we preferred 2 teaspoons to a jar.

The Cherry, Lemon, Basil infused Tequila is not so surprisingly tart but smells the best out of the three. I can barely taste the tequila and Katie said it reminds her of hibiscus tea. We were originally going to make this drink with blackberries but the quality of the berries we purchased was poor so we went with what was in our fridge. Luckily our Kickball teammate gave us a bag of cherries the other day! Yes, we are on a Kickball team. Yes, we are adults. The Cucumber, Lime Jalapeno infused Tequila feels like a punch in the face! I used an entire jalapeno and probably will use half next time around and add more cucumbers. I thought the cucumbers would have made it more soothing but I was so wrong. I love spice but Katie refuses to try it off of smell! If you like spice go for this infusion! I also think it would be great shaken with ice and served in shooter or shot form. Definitely not something to sip on over a long period of time unless you like to lose taste buds.
